PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Missouri River Country of Montana is a beautiful area in Northern Montana that contains a wide array of geographical features. In addition to the aforementioned Missouri River, the area also contains rolling meadows,large rocky buttes and outcroppings that make the Missouri River Country unlike any other area in the United States. With this in mind, I was approached to create a website for the area that not only captured the beauty of the landscapes, but showed the essence of the people that call this land their home.

APPROACH

I was provided with a large collection of photographs of the country and created a website that was designed to showcase the many natural wonders that these photographs contained no matter what page the viewer was on. In addition to the photographs they also intended for the site to be a resource for the articles that have been written about the history of the area. With all of these stated goals in mind, the redesign needed to maintain a clear layout and navigation so the sites viewers would not get lost.

The final site was able to showcase the beauty of the area while providing visitors with the resources necessary to begin their own journey in the Missouri River Country
