So who am I?

Well first off thanks for visiting my site. My name is Joe Veltkamp and I am a freelance artist/designer located in the beautiful city of Missoula, Montana.

My passion is to create clean, beautiful designs. Whether in my illustrations or in web design I am constantly trying to say more with less.

Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Whether it was drawing and painting or my more recent venture into web and graphic design, this love has been a constant companion. While I am most comfortable with a pencil and paper in hand ( most all my designs begin at this stage ), I owe a debt of gratitude to the fine folks at Adobe for giving me the tools to convert these ideas into the digital world.

While art and design consumes a majority of my time, in my free time I can usually be found visiting with my friends, drinking profuse amounts of coffee or just getting outside to look for more inspiration.
